2000AJ55 occultation - 2007 August 20

Discussion:

The circle above is plotted at the expected 8 km diameter of 2000AJ55. The rating for this event was only 1% but Hristo was close to the predicted line and luck was with him. With only one chord it is not possible to determine whether Hristo was east or west of the central line of the event. But with a nominal diameter of only 8km he must have been no more than about 4km from the center. This one clearly shows that even low rating events can be captured on some occasions and if you are close to the path it is worth observing.
