Discussion:

The circle above is plotted at the expected 26 km diameter of Frisia. Assuming the updated prediction was approximately correct then it appears that Bill Allen was very close to the edge of the asteroid.

The figure below shows Bill's drift-scan image of the observation with sadly no obvious occulation.

Comments: The timing tapes were analysed with Goldwave. 
Excellent observing conditions but no event was recored on drift scan trace, see copy attached. 
The predicted time for the mid-event at VLO was 17 18 33.
Manual synchronisation of Timer Box to KIWI-OSD time to within 0.1 second.
