Discussion:

The circle above is plotted at the expected 75 km diameter of Montague. With one chord and a definite constrining miss to the south we can be confident of the path of Montague and that it was north of the predicted line.

The figure below shows the Tangra light curve of John's Mobile station occultation.

Comments: obscuring smoke haze.  Visually mag 3 stars not seen.  Had to push camera to slow 5 to see star field.
Please find attached a composite picture of the star field I was on.  It
is skewed just a little to the east of north (that is left).  I think
this is a good fit to the Guide 30' chart.  What had me worried was the
apparent low luminosity of the stars, but as I put in my report, the
conditions were very poor.  I was flat out seeing 3rd mag stars
visually.  The field of view in the picture is about 40' I think.
