Discussion:

The ellipse above is plotted at the maximum axis ratio as determined by lightcurve inversion data and with a similar area to the predicted diameter of 194 km. With two fairly close chords of similar size and roughly parallel edges it is not possible to determine whether the Daves were north or south of the central line of the event. However we can be confident that the path of Hermione was north of the predicted line. The DAMIT 3D model has been overlaid on the ellipse and shows reasonable fit. There are 2 DAMIT Models - I have chosen the one that gives slightly better fit but is also shows the new concave modeling ability which implies a large crater on the face of Hermione.
