Ted Dobosz, Jonathan Bradshaw, Hristo Pavlov, Darren Corbett and Bernard Heathcote
also resitered for this event but were unable to observe.
Discussion:
The ellipse above is plotted at the best fit to the Video observations of Winchester.
Chris's visual observation has been time offset adjusted to agree
with that shape but his duration is retained.
With six chords we have very high confidence in central line of the event had moved about 50km to the west.
It is also interesting to view the 3D model of Winchester derived from long term lightcurve data at the
Database of Asteroid Models from Inversion Techniques (DAMIT) site.
The Plot above is consistent with the more
circular view of The 3D model
as seen in this overlay.
The figures below show some of the light curves of the occultation.

Timing Tape Recorder + time signal Visual, no PE applied
Disappearance 11:10:54.00 (these times were shifted -12 Secs in plot -jt)
Reappearance 11:11:16.00
Comments: There is a little uncertainty about the disappearance
and reappearance times, the star dimmed gradually and reappeared
gradually. I was about 1 second late calling the R and 2 to 3 seconds
late calling the D as it surprised me in as much as I was expecting a
rapid drop off of brightness not a gradual dimming.
