Discussion:
The circle above is plotted at the expected 103 km diameter of Corduba. With no positive chords we cannot say where the actual path was, so the circle has been plotted on the predicted path which was almost the same as John Broughton's position.
The figure below shows the Tangra light curve of the event as recorded by Dave Gault.
There is an interesting dip between frames 790 and 810 that was thought may be a possible event. This does not quite meet the criteia of a 3 sample flat bottom that we apply to separate noise from signal. And if we plot the magnitude changes of the Target relative to the Reference we see that even when we plot each integrated (x32) sample period as a single point that this is much more likely to be noise. We also notice that the magnitude dip from the mean is about 0.5 compared to the expected 1.0
